TURNING ATTENTION TO OURSELVES

YOGA WITH STEPHIE
Through the practice of Yoga we turn our attention to the self, we learn to feel and listen to our body. Co-ordinating the breath, mind and body, promotes a sense of relaxation and ease of movement "it's so much more than just being flexible!"
A Yoga practice has positive effects on all of the bodily systems and the benefits of Yoga vary from person to person.
IT'S MORE THAN JUST BEING FLEXIBLE
The practice of Yoga asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) benefits the circulatory, digestive, endocrine, immune, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, nervous, respiratory, reproductive and urinary systems.

Yoga has been an important part of my life for over 13 years. During this time I have been overwhelmed with the continued significant benefits of my personal practice: I have a deeper sense of connection with my mind, body and self, and feel in a privileged position to be able to share this gift with others, here in the beautiful Cotswolds.
I had the ambition of becoming a Yoga teacher after visiting Greece on a Yoga Retreat in 2017. In 2019, I decided it was my time to follow my dreams and embarked upon an intensive 200 hour Vinyasa/Ashtanga and 60 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course with Sampoorna Yoga. Since then I have continued with my studies and completed my 300 hour Vinyasa/Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Alpha Yoga School.
From the day I taught my first class I realised that I had made the right decision; I absolutely love teaching. The teacher training I received has taught me the importance of safe teaching practice, consideration of individual needs and being true to yourself.
